Our mission
Floofy 5 Ferret Rescue, Inc. was founded from our family’s love for ferrets and a commitment to helping those in need. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome surrendered, neglected, and special-needs ferrets while providing essential medical care and education to owners. Our mission is to ensure every ferret has the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life in a loving home.

Rescue
We take in surrendered, abandoned, and neglected ferrets, including seniors and special-needs ferrets who need extra care.

Rehabilitate
Every ferret gets veterinary care, good nutrition, and patience. We work closely with vets to treat conditions like adrenal disease, insulinoma, and lymphoma.

Rehome
When they’re ready, we match ferrets with loving forever homes that are prepared for their unique needs.

Educate
We help current and future owners learn about nutrition, enrichment, housing, and healthcare, so more ferrets can stay in loving homes.
Our story
It started with a family and a few ferrets.
What started with caring for a few ferrets quickly became a lifelong commitment shared by our family: a safe haven for ferrets who had nowhere else to go. Some came to us because their owners faced hardship or unexpected life changes. Others arrived with serious medical needs. Each one had a unique story, and each one deserved love and a second chance.
